Job summary

Plug in Santa Monica, CA is seeking a Head of Engineering to lead our engineering team and shape the technical foundation of a fast-growing Series A company. You’ll report to the SVP of Product & Technology, split time between hands-on work and leadership, and drive architectural decisions.

You’ll mentor engineers, scale the team, partner with product on vision and delivery, and push an AI-native SDLC to build robust, scalable EV fintech systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience and leadership at scale.
• Startup experience shaping an engineering function in a fast-moving company.
• Currently contributing to production code and architecture decisions.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
