Job summary

Heron Power is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead and own Environmental Health & Safety across R&D, NPI, manufacturing, and field service operations.

You will build and manage a team of EHS professionals, set program strategy, drive regulatory compliance and risk management, and partner with site leaders to foster a culture of safety.

This is a people-management role in a fast-scaling hardware company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS or related field.
• 7+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing, R&D, or energy technology.
• Knowledge of Cal/OSHA Title 8, 29 CFR 1910, NFPA 70E, RCRA and Title 22.
• Experience building and leading EHS teams and reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develop site-specific hazard analyses and safe work procedures for high-voltage labs and manufacturing.
• Lead field service safety program for technicians on customer sites.
• Oversee NFPA 70E audits and corrective actions.
• Direct hazardous waste management under RCRA and Title 22.
• Manage emergency response planning and drills.
