Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• 5+ years in environmental, health, and safety programs with emphasis on safety engineering.
• 3+ years leadership of technical/engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day activities, priorities, and performance of the EHS Safety Engineering team.
• Oversee operational budgets for Safety Engineering programs across IH, Ergonomics, Equipment Safety, and Process Safety.
• Develop engineering-based solutions that improve workplace safety and drive cross-functional engagement.
• Review and interpret new safety rules and provide guidance to management and engineering teams.
• Provide training, coaching, and technical guidance on IH assessments, ergonomic risk evaluations, and PHAs/JHAs.
• Lead multi-disciplinary Safety Engineering reviews to drive EHS performance.
• Perform safety audits, risk assessments, IH surveys, ergonomic evaluations, and process safety analyses; collaborate with operations and project leadership to ensure requirements are met.
• Lead the development and implementation of safety-in-design specs for existing and future equipment.
