• Experience setting up, calibrating, and maintaining analytical laboratory instrumentation

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains educational labs in the department
• Instructs faculty, staff and students in operation of lab equipment
• Sets up lab spaces and experiments and calibrates analytical equipment
• Monitors laboratory safety and enforces procedures
• Develops training sessions for civil and environmental software applications
• Supports open houses and outreach events
• Assists in equipment purchases and vendor coordination
• Maintains lab equipment and coordinates repairs
