Green Thumb Industries (GTI) seeks a Director of Product Development - Edibles to lead the Edibles PD team from concept to commercialization. You will translate briefs into formulations, run sensory evaluations, vet ingredients, and own product specs for scalable, high‑quality products.

The role requires mentoring, strong leadership, and expertise in food science and CPG development, with 10% travel to GTI facilities and flexible hours for sensory sessions.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Food Science, Culinary Science, Chemistry, or related field.
• Master’s degree or PhD strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of leadership experience.
• Food science or product development experience in a CPG or food/beverage setting, including hands-on formulation and sensory evaluation.

• Develop and execute the company's new product strategy in alignment with business objectives.
• Drive innovation and new product development to meet market demands and gain competitive edge.
• Translate product briefs into finished formulations and guide sensory evaluation and testing.
• Oversee end-to-end product development from ideation to commercialization.
• Lead and develop a cross-functional PD team including food scientists and culinary experts.
• Manage the test kitchen and coordinate with landlord for operations and safety.
• Stay current with industry trends and conduct market research to identify opportunities.
• Maintain project plans, budgets, timelines and milestones for PD initiatives.
