Job summary

University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) invites applications for an Associate or Full Professor to lead the Early Phase Experimental Therapeutics Program within the Hematology/Oncology division of the Department of Medicine.

The role focuses on growing the clinical trial portfolio for phase I and basket trials across diverse hematologic and oncologic diseases at UCSF Comprehensive Cancer Center, with outpatient duties at Mission Bay and PI responsibilities on multiple trials.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and ABIM certified or eligible in Medical Oncology.
• Track record of excellence in clinical and/or translational research, including substantial early phase trial experience.

Responsibilities

• See patients up to 4 half-days per week in outpatient clinics at UCSF Mission Bay.
• Serve as Principal Investigator on clinical trials, including industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated studies.
• Oversee and grow the early phase experimental therapeutics portfolio; lead a multi-disciplinary team.
• No inpatient responsibilities.
