Job summary
Merck & Co. is seeking a Discovery, Preclinical Translational Medicine (DPTM) Business Technology Partner to shape digital strategy and lead transformation across discovery science capabilities.
You will drive AI/ML-enabled data solutions, partner with RaDS and DPTM leaders, and deliver outcome-based roadmaps for scientific and business value. You will lead product strategy, build capable teams, and collaborate with Scientific Data & Analytics and Lab Operations & Platforms to deliver integrated
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Life Science.
- 10+ years in leadership roles in life sciences or technology with team management.
- Ability to translate strategy into technology roadmaps and influence enterprise tech strategy.
- Experience collaborating across diverse stakeholder groups to achieve shared goals.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Own and strengthen the strategic relationship with DPTM leadership; translate priorities into product strategy and investments.
- Lead Discovery and Translational Science product strategy with roadmaps and priorities.
- Build and evolve high-performing product teams leveraging data, analytics, AI, and experimental evidence.
- Inspire across scientific, business, and tech organizations; resolve competing priorities.
- Develop talent in product management, informatics, and digital innovation; drive rapid learning and responsible tech adoption.
