Job summary

Merck in Boston seeks a Discovery, Preclinical Translational Medicine Business Technology Partner to lead the team shaping business strategy for digital discovery platforms and AI-enabled research capabilities.

You will be the primary contact for senior DPTM leaders, translating scientific priorities into product and investment strategy and driving transformation across data, analytics, and modern research platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own and strengthen strategic relationship with DPTM leadership, translating priorities into product strategy and investments.
• Lead Discovery and Translational Science product strategy, roadmaps, and investment priorities.
• Build high-performing product teams delivering data-driven insights through AI and analytics.
• Inspire across scientific, business, and technology organizations.
• Resolve competing stakeholder priorities with shared understanding of scientific value and tradeoffs.
• Develop talent and capabilities in product management and digital innovation.
• Foster experimentation and responsible adoption of emerging technologies.
• Build cross-functional relationships with business stakeholders and IT teams to solve complex problems.
• Own selected Discovery and Translational Science product capabilities as needed.
