Job summary

Synovus is seeking a Director of Digital Workplace Engineering in Columbus, GA to lead the vision, strategy, and hands-on execution for IT solutions supporting the digital workplace. You will align technology delivery with business goals, manage enterprise architecture, and drive innovation across IT teams.

The role requires a deep background in information technology strategy, risk and compliance, and a track record of building high‑performing, cross‑functional teams to deliver complex programs

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Business Administration or related field required.
10+ years IT and business experience with technology solutions across multiple platforms.
4+ years of leading multi‑functional teams and projects.

Responsibilities

Provide vision and leadership for technology solution delivery in the Pinnacle environment.
Partner with IT leadership and business units to leverage technology for operations.
Direct development, release, and maintenance of business applications and infrastructure.
Ensure compliance, risk management, and alignment with enterprise objectives.
Inspire and grow diverse, high‑performing teams and communicate goals clearly.
