Job summary

The University of California, Berkeley, School of Law Library seeks an Associate Director for Digital Research Infrastructure to lead the development, integration, and strategic advancement of the Library’s technology and digital services.

This leadership role supports scholarly communication, responsible adoption of legal practice technologies, and research through emerging technologies and sustainable digital infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required (JD, MA, PhD or equivalent).
• Experience leading digital initiatives and scholarly communication programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and strategic advancement of digital services and infrastructure.
• Teach iterations of Advanced Legal Research.
• Oversee the Digital Research, Technology, and Scholarly Services department.
• Lead institutional repository and digital publishing efforts.
• Collaborate with Law School IT and administration on interoperability and strategy.
