Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Head of Development to own the engineering end-to-end for an AI agent platform. The role is remote (Germany) and full-time, requiring German C1+ and English fluency, deep C#/.NET, and strong Azure expertise.

You will lead architecture, hands-on coding, CI/CD, IaC, multi-tenant security, and cost governance while guiding a small senior team from day one.

We are a German strategy & transformation consultancy building our own product: a platform to design, orchestrate, run and govern AI agents for enterprise processes – built entirely on Microsoft Azure in C#/.NET (Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Semantic Kernel/Agent Framework, MCP, knowledge graphs, RAG, vector DBs). We are looking for the person who owns the engineering end-to-end: architecture, hands-on coding, CI/CD (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, IaC), multi-tenancy, security, cost control, and leading a small senior team. Must have: AI agents that are in production today (tell us which and where), strong C#/.NET, deep Azure, 5+ years of professional software development, fluent German and English. You report directly to the founders and shape the product from day one.
