Job summary

Cerebras Systems is seeking a Head of Developer Relations to shape how developers discover, understand, and build with Cerebras. You’ll define the DevRel vision and roadmap, set the technical quality bar, and lead a team that earns developer trust through demos, teaching, and original ideas.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role: you’ll build apps, debug API integrations, and teach workshops while coaching engineers and coordinating with Product, Engineering, New Media, and Communications

Qualifications

• A portfolio of technical demos, applications, tutorials, workshops, or developer programs.
• Experience leading a DevRel function with results in developer adoption.
• Experience managing technical contributors with feedback and growth.
• Track record delivering technical launches with Product, Eng, and partners.
• Experience turning developer insights into product improvements.
• Strong hands-on engineering skills; able to code, debug, and explain decisions.
• Excellent technical writing, teaching, and presentation skills.
• Informed view on modern DevRel and the AI developer ecosystem.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and prioritization abilities.

Responsibilities

• Define the team vision, roadmap, and quality bar for developer audiences.
• Own demos, sample apps, notebooks, blogs, and workshops; write, teach, and debug.
• Develop events and programs to help developers try Cerebras and build apps.
• Lead and develop DevRel contributors with clear expectations and feedback.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering on technical launches and readiness.
• Turn developer feedback into product and documentation improvements.
• Measure activation, ongoing usage, and ecosystem engagement; adjust priorities.
