Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation is seeking an experienced Client Server Manager to lead imaging, deployment, and virtualization across enterprise endpoints. You will oversee Citrix farms, MECM/Ivanti/Intune deployments, and VDI design, guiding teams to secure, standardized environments.

The role emphasizes strategic leadership, project migrations, and collaboration with security, networking, and enterprise systems to enable reliable, scalable endpoints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field. Experience can substitute degree.
• 5+ years in team management and 8+ years in computer hardware/software support.
• 5+ years in imaging, virtualization, or endpoint management.
• Experience with MECM/SCCM, Ivanti, Intune, VMware, Google Admin Console, and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Strategic lead for the Device Imaging and Integration/Virtualization team, aligning with organizational goals.
• Manage day-to-day operations, personnel, and performance, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Lead and mentor technical teams in imaging, virtualization, and endpoint management.
• Oversee Citrix administrators, coordinate tasks, and mentor junior staff in Citrix technologies.
• Oversee the administration of Citrix farms, manage app publishing, resource allocation, and usage trends; ensure high availability and performance.
• Oversee imaging, deployment, and standard OS images across Windows, macOS, Linux, etc.
• Prepare base images and software packages for devices; ensure compatibility testing and documentation.
• Lead design, maintenance, and evaluation of Citrix, VMware, and supporting technologies; plan migrations.
• Design and implement VDI solutions using VMware/Citrix; manage device lifecycle for physical and virtual endpoints.
• Integrate imaging, virtualization, and application delivery tools to streamline deployment.
• Automate imaging and provisioning to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
• Enforce cybersecurity policies, patch management, and vulnerability reduction; ensure compliance.
• Review and document imaging/virtualization designs; lead change management with minimal disruption.
• Provide escalation support for global Citrix environments; publish apps and desktops.
• Use Citrix Director/Edgesight and monitoring platforms to track performance and report usage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Citrix with enterprise systems, networking, and security.
• Maintain system configurations, processes, and best practices for compliance and onboarding.
