Job summary

Gilbert Pharmaceuticals is hiring a Head of Design, Development, and Construction to own the full lifecycle of launching new pharmacy facilities nationwide. You will oversee site selection, feasibility, budgeting, design team selection, build-out, and regulatory readiness for 503A and 503B operations.

The role requires hands-on experience with pharmacy environments and strong collaboration with operations, quality, and regulatory teams to ensure go-live readiness and ongoing compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field with professional licensure preferred.
• 5+ years designing, building, or commissioning pharmacy facilities or regulated spaces.
• Experience interfacing with regulatory agencies (FDA, Boards of Pharmacy).

Responsibilities

• Lead market analysis and site selection for new pharmacy locations nationwide.
• Oversee entitlement strategies, permits, and regulatory submissions with authorities.
• Coordinate design teams (architects, engineers) to meet USP and cGMP standards.
• Manage budgets, timelines, and vendor selection for build-out projects.
• Drive construction oversight as Owner's rep from design through commissioning.
