Fig is seeking a Head of Deployment to lead the deployment team, define how each deployment runs, and hire the people who execute it. You will own delivery on multiple accounts, decide staffing, and shape the playbook for our customers’ success.

You will partner with founders and platform teams to ensure consistency, measure outcomes, and drive improvements. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast‑growing company.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years in consulting, operations leadership, or forward‑deployed roles.
• Led transformations where customers resisted change and delivered measurable results.
• Hired and managed engineers and non‑engineers within the same team.
• Able to read a data schema and an integration plan and ask the right questions.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery across active deployments, including staffing, sequencing, and escalation if plans change.
• Draft the deployment playbook and keep it aligned with platform evolution and customer needs.
• Hire and grow Forward Deployed Engineers and Deployment Strategists; set performance bars.
• Serve as executive counterpart to the customer COO on larger accounts; lead initial deployments.
• Feedback to platform team on field issues and fixes; report metrics weekly to founders.

# Head of DeploymentYou run the pods. Every customer outcome is yours, and so is the playbook for how Fig deploys.Apply for this role## The roleFig deploys its AI platform inside businesses and runs the transformation with them. The deployment team, Forward Deployed Engineers and Deployment Strategists working in small pods, is where that happens. You lead it. You decide how a deployment runs, who staffs it, what done looks like, and what we learned when it is over.This is a player-coach seat. You will be the first Deployment Strategist on the hardest accounts while you hire the people who take them over, and you will own the number that matters most to the company: how many customers are running real work on Fig, and how fast we got them there.## What you'll do* Own delivery across every active deployment: staffing, sequencing, quality, and the escalation when a customer's plan changes.* Write the deployment playbook from what the pods actually do, and keep it honest as the platform and the customers change.* Hire and develop the Forward Deployed Engineers and Deployment Strategists across our field hubs, and set the bar for both seats.* Be the executive counterpart to a customer's COO on the accounts that need it, and the strategist on the first two or three you run yourself.* Feed the platform team a ranked list of what breaks in the field, and hold them to fixing it.* Report delivery, adoption and expansion to the founders every week in numbers, not narrative.## What we look for* Eight or more years across consulting, operations leadership, or forward-deployed and solutions work, with at least three running a team accountable for customer outcomes.* Has personally led a transformation inside a company that did not want to change, and can tell us what they got wrong.* Has hired and managed engineers and non-engineers on the same team, and knows the two need different things from a manager.* Technical enough to read a data schema and an integration plan and ask the question that saves a month.* Direct, calm under a slipping timeline, and comfortable telling a founder the plan is wrong.## Nice to have* Time in a deployment organization at a company that ships software into other companies.* Operating depth in industrials, distribution, consumer brands or insurance.## Location and travelSan Francisco, with the founders and the platform team.
