Job summary

Tulsa Public Schools seeks a Lead Hearing Impaired Teacher to oversee instructional programs for deaf or hard-of-hearing students. You will lead program development, supervise staff, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure appropriate accommodations and modifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
• Experience with deaf or hard-of-hearing students in an educational setting.
• Previous supervisory/leadership experience and ability to initiate program districtwide changes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee instructional programs for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
• Lead program development and districtwide initiatives as needed.
• Supervise staff, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and allocate resources.
• Monitor effectiveness and ensure compliance with legal mandates (IDEA 2004).
