Qualifications

• Licensed to teach in Illinois and endorsed in Deaf or Hard of Hearing (PEL).
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of content and pedagogy and utilizes varied approaches to meet student needs.
• Develops and implements IEPs and assessment methods.
• Uses ASL or Signed Exact English as appropriate.
• Plans and delivers differentiated instruction.
• Maintains accurate student records and communicates with families.
• Collaborates with staff and participates in professional development.
