Mantell Associates are thrilled to have partnered with an innovative Life Sciences organisation, who are looking for a Head of Data Science to join their senior leadership team.

Head of Data Science - Responsibilities:

1. Work with your Senior Leadership team to develop strategic growth opportunities for data science and analysis tools for RWE, public, and R&D datasets.
2. Manage a team of data scientists to develop and implement statistical techniques for designing, analyzing, and reporting experiments.
3. Develop novel methods for analyzing custom molecular biology datasets. Collaborate with technology development, product development, clinical, and operations teams to define statistical and experimental plans.
4. Execute analyses and clearly communicate results to cross-functional teams, assisting in determining next steps.
5. Track and coordinate projects, communicating timelines and issues to the Senior Management Team.

Head of Data Science - Requirements:

• PhD in Biostatistics, Computational Biology, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related fields, with a successful career within the biotechnology sector.
• Strong technical skills in building and implementing data science and statistical models across large-scale datasets.
