Job summary

Structure Therapeutics is seeking a Head of Data (Senior Director or Executive Director) to own the Knowledge System—the strategic data asset powering all AI across the company. You will govern enriched data, ontologies, data catalog, and data pipelines, leading data engineers and stewards in a greenfield, Crown Jewels initiative.

You will partner with AI, IT, and business units to align data strategy with Clinical, CMC, R&D, and Commercial needs, ensuring FAIR data practices and regulatory

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or knowledge management in a regulated data-intensive environment.
• Proven track record building knowledge infrastructure, not just pipelines.
• Fluency with modern data stack and data governance concepts.
• Experience leading data engineers and data stewards.

Responsibilities

• Own the Knowledge System and data layer powering AI initiatives.
• Define ontologies and semantic enrichments for AI readiness.
• Lead data engineers and stewards, ensuring data quality and governance.
• Collaborate with AI, IT, and business units to align data roadmap.
