EdReports.org is seeking a Director, Data & IT to lead our data, analytics, and internal technology initiatives. This senior role partners with the VP of Product & Technology to shape strategy and drive scalable solutions that support informed decision-making across the nonprofit education sector.

The position is fully remote in the United States, reports to the VP, Product & Technology, and supervises one direct report.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive experience building and executing data or analytics functions.
• 3–5 years of experience supervising and developing direct reports and KPIs.
• Experience translating organizational strategy into prioritized technology roadmaps and leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong technical fluency in SQL, data architecture, analytics, and modern data platforms; SaaS and data platform management.
• Experience establishing and improving data governance, data quality, privacy, and security practices.
• Experience overseeing internal IT operations, vendors/MSPs, cybersecurity, and business continuity.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Residency in and authorization to work in the United States.

• Design, implement, and improve the data ecosystem, including data warehouse, pipelines, reporting, and BI dashboards.
• Maintain data governance practices ensuring data quality, security, accessibility, and stewardship.
