Metric Exec (DCX) is leading a confidential search for a VP/SVP-level Head of Data Center Development & Delivery for a well-capitalized company building next-generation off-grid, nuclear-powered AI data center campuses across the U.S., across multiple markets.

This foundational leadership role oversees a large-scale pipeline, serving as the primary internal counterpart to EPC and infrastructure partners, while driving site readiness, preconstruction, permitting, schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• 15+ years leading large-scale data center or critical infrastructure programs.
• Deep experience with EPC delivery and owner-side leadership.
• Strong executive presence with ability to engage investors and partners.
• Proven track record delivering multi-market campuses on time and within budget.

Metric Exec (DCX) is leading a confidential search for a VP/SVP-level Head of Data Center Development & Delivery for a well-capitalized company developing next-generation off-grid, nuclear-powered AI data center campuses across the U.S.

This is a foundational leadership hire with responsibility for driving development and delivery across a growing multi-market pipeline.

The Role

• Lead development and delivery execution across a large-scale data center campus pipeline
• Serve as the primary internal counterpart to EPC and infrastructure partners
• Oversee site readiness, pre-construction, permitting, project controls, schedules, budgets and delivery risk
• Coordinate across nuclear, commercial, finance and legal teams to support integrated infrastructure development
• Support investor diligence, strategic partnerships and public-company readiness

The Profile

• 15+ years leading large-scale data center, mission-critical, energy or infrastructure development programs
• Significant experience across hyperscale, AI, utility-scale or highly complex infrastructure
• Deep expertise in EPC delivery, owner-side project leadership, construction management and program controls
• Strong executive presence with the ability to operate credibly with EPC partners, investors and strategic customers
• Experience with power-intensive infrastructure, advanced energy systems or utility-scale development strongly preferred
