Job summary

TekRek, a fast-growing small business financing platform, seeks a senior data leader to consolidate analytics under one roof, reporting to the CEO. You will define the data strategy, build governance, and create a trusted source of truth to drive decisions that shape growth.

You will set vision and roadmaps for analytics, define core KPIs across marketing, sales and revenue, and lead an expanding team. The role blends hands-on data work with executive collaboration and responsible use of AI

Qualifications

• 7+ years in analytics, BI, or revenue analytics; including recent leadership
• Experience leading a data function at Head or Director level
• Experience supporting sales-led or marketplace models with funnel optimization
• Strong SQL and data modeling; governance, semantic layers, and warehouse modernization
• Executive communication and hands-on comfort with AI tools and automation, with data sensitivity

A small business financing platform built to make capital access simpler for entrepreneurs. The company pairs proprietary data with an intelligent matching engine and a curated lender network, and is scaling fast across marketing, sales, and marketplace distribution.

The Role

This is a senior data leadership mandate reporting into the CEO, responsible for consolidating a distributed analytics function into one centralized, performance-driven team. The right person will set the data strategy and roadmap, build the governance and infrastructure that makes company metrics trustworthy, and act as a strategic partner to the executive team on decisions that shape growth. This suits a builder who has stood up or centralized a data function before and is comfortable owning both the technical stack and the executive relationships around it.

What You Will Do

• Set the vision, roadmap, and standards for data and analytics across the business
• Define core KPIs across marketing, sales, and revenue functions, and build reporting that keeps leadership aligned on performance
• Own a single source of truth for company metrics, with clear governance and quality controls
• Lead root-cause analysis on funnel and conversion performance, and partner with sales and marketing to improve lead quality and attribution
• Modernize the data stack, guide build-versus-buy decisions, and lead, coach, and grow the analytics team

What You Bring

• 7+ years in analytics, business intelligence, or revenue analytics, including 3+ years leading a data function at Head or Director level
• A track record of building or centralizing a data function and establishing trusted metric definitions
• Experience supporting sales-led or marketplace business models, with a history of improving funnel conversion and revenue outcomes
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills, with fluency in governance, semantic layers, and warehouse modernization
• Executive communication skills and hands-on comfort with AI tools and automation, used responsibly around sensitive data
