Job summary

Rhoback Inc. is seeking a seasoned Customization Manager in Charlottesville, VA, to lead end-to-end decoration workflows for licensed, wholesale, and branded programs.

You will coordinate artwork, approvals, production routing, and vendor relationships to meet Rhoback’s high standards for quality and speed. You’ll manage the Embroidery Specialist and partner with Sales, Design, Product Development, and Operations to build scalable SOPs and a robust decoration catalog, ensuring on-time delivery

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of relevant experience in decorated apparel, custom embellishment, or licensed merchandise operations.
• Experience with multi-channel customization programs and licensor approvals (NCAA, NFL/MLB, PGA Tour, or equivalent).
• Experience managing both 3PL and direct factory relationships, with production routing decisions based on order size, decoration type, speed, and cost.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of embroidery production processes and related file formats (.DST, .EMB, .AI).
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Apparel Production, Operations, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end decoration workflow across all active customization programs, ensuring consistent process and quality.
• Manage artwork specs and technical direction from Design to external partners and licensors for approvals.
• Partner with Sales and Design to develop decoration concepts and produce spec packages for partners.
• Determine production routing for orders, directing to 3PL or factories as needed.
• Own vendor relationships with 3PL and factories; negotiate pricing, timelines, and capacity; enforce quality.
