Job summary

The Timberline Group is seeking a Head of IT Customer Applications to lead our St. Louis based client’s customer-facing software stack, including marketing e-commerce, learning platforms, QA systems, production support, and system integrations.

The role demands a collaborative, data-driven leader who can balance strategic initiatives with daily IT support. You will build and mentor a growing team of engineers, champion Agile and Kanban practices, deliver on timelines, and shape a strategic

Qualifications

• Able to present complex technical information clearly.
• Deep knowledge of Agile, .Net, C#, microservices, DDD, SQL Server and web tech.
• 10–15+ years building software in senior roles.
• 5+ years managing 25+ engineers.
• Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead for the customer facing applications.
• Lay out and execute on strategic initiatives.
• Manage a growing team of IT professionals and developers.
• Be responsible for delivering on committed timelines for both tactical and strategic projects.
• Champion Agile and Kanban methodologies in our teams.
• Guide the technical direction for the customer facing application stack with business leadership.
• Build and maintain a strategic roadmap of customer facing initiatives.
• Ensure the leadership team maintains a complex backlog and delivery predictability.
• Improve development processes to optimize delivery.
