About Our Head Of Corporate Strategy

We are seeking a Head of Corporate Strategy to be a key member of the audiochuck team and a strategic partner to the CFO, CEO, divisional leaders, and the Board of Directors. This position collaborates with all areas of the organization and contributes significantly to developing and executing our strategic growth priorities. The Head of Corporate Strategy is responsible new business line strategy and financial modeling, distribution partner negotiations, content acquisitions, M&A and general CEO/CFO special projects. This role will report to the CFO.

The Head Of Corporate Strategy Will Be Responsible For

• New business line development from market research to financial and operating model development. This role will also run partner negotiations as we develop these new business lines.
• Content acquisitions: All content acquisitions will run through this function from strategy to financial considerations. This role will partner with business affairs during negotiations.
• Distribution partnerships: Negotiate new distribution partnerships and ensure financial and operational terms are in line or above expectations. Once a deal is done, will hand off day-to-day management to our partnerships lead.
• Special projects: Work with CEO, CCO and CFO on all special projects.
• Lead all M&A opportunities and create our themes for consideration.
  
  

What You Will Bring To The Table

• 5 years minimum operational experience as a corporate development executive / finance leader, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth company
• 10+ years of total accounting experience and/or finance experience
• Exceptional financial management, analytical, reporting, problem solving, negotiations, and organizational skills
• Success serving as the key member of the team in providing input to the CEO, board of directors, and management regarding the strategic implications of all major business decisions, as well as strategic objectives
• Experience in M&A, deal negotiations, and processes
