Job summary

QVC Group, a live social shopping leader, is seeking a Managing Editor for the Frontgate and Grandin Road brands in West Chester, Ohio. Lead the Copy department across websites, catalogs, and multi-channel platforms, reporting to the Senior Director of Creative.

On-site presence several days per month is required, with relocation not provided. You will mentor a talented Copy team, shape voice guidelines, and drive strategic messaging in collaboration with design, merchandising, and marketing for

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in writing intensive field or equivalent work experience
3+ years' experience managing and leading a performing work team and 7+ years' experience in advertising copywriting and editing in high-quality catalog and multi-channel
Advanced skills with Macintosh/Apple systems and software
Advanced skills in Microsoft Word
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and InDesign
Understanding of copy as it relates to art, design, graphics, and typography

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor the Copy department, set goals, create workflows, and partner with other teams to execute initiatives
Direct and oversee creative direction, ensure voice consistency across print, digital, email, social and product content
Partner with design, merchandising, and marketing to develop cohesive campaigns
Collaborate on seasonal and promotional messaging strategies and editorial standards
Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional coordination
