You will translate strategy into actionable plans, supervise production workflows, monitor budgets and drive audience growth. A strong editorial background and leadership experience are essential for success in this hybrid role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and five years of experience in the area, including two years in managerial roles.
• Demonstrated success supervising, mentoring and developing creative or editorial staff.
• Experience in public media or broadcasting and familiarity with PBS distribution and content delivery partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead content strategy and editorial leadership for local storytelling across broadcast, digital and social platforms.
• Direct day-to-day planning, development, production and distribution of content.
• Oversee content calendar, greenlight process and audience engagement strategies.
• Manage production budgets and coordinate freelance/contract resources.
• Collaborate with cross-department teams to maximize content impact.
