Job summary

Pinterest is seeking a Sr. Director, Consumer Communications to lead a multi-disciplinary team across product, lifestyle and creator communications.

You will report to the CCO and translate Pinterest’s consumer and brand vision into strategic and hands-on execution across high-visibility moments. You’ll partner with Marketing, Editorial, Creative and Social teams, driving integrated campaigns, measuring impact and ensuring authentic storytelling with creators and key media relationships.

Qualifications

14+ years of experience in consumer communications or related field.
5+ years leading communications teams, managing other managers and building high-performing organizations.
Experience leading integrated consumer communications strategies across product, lifestyle/culture and creator channels.
Proven track record building creator and influencer programs with talent reps.
Senior-level relationships with top-tier consumer media and ability to drive narrative.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a high-performing consumer communications organization with clear goals and accountability.
Define and own Pinterest’s integrated consumer communications strategy across product, lifestyle/culture and creator channels.
Lead product consumer communications with Product and Marketing to bring roadmap, visual search and shopping to life.
Direct lifestyle and culture communications to shape narrative in culture and trends media.
Design and manage creator/ influencer programs to tell Pinterest’s story and amplify creator voices.
