Job summary

Pinterest seeks a Senior Lead, Corporate Communications to shape how our business, strategy and growth are understood by external audiences across corporate, financial and advertiser channels.

You will translate complex priorities into clear narratives, partnering with Finance, Investor Relations, and Legal to manage earnings, 8Ks, M&A and other events, while leading proactive and reactive programs and guiding senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations or a related field.
• Excellent writing and editing skills for executives and external audiences.
• Strong media instincts and relationships with business, financial and trade press.
• Experience using AI tools to improve the speed, quality and insight of communications work, with sound judgment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with policy, trust & safety or regulatory communications in a complex corporate environment.
• Experience with advertising, monetization or broader B2B platform storytelling.
• Experience supporting communications across multiple business lines simultaneously.
• Experience working in-house at a global, publicly traded technology or platform company.

Responsibilities

• Shape Pinterest’s corporate narrative for business, financial and advertiser audiences.
• Develop and execute communications strategies around financial reporting, earnings, 8Ks, M&A and other key events.

• Pinterest is looking for a Senior Lead, Corporate Communications to help shape how our business, strategy and growth are understood by key external audiences
• This person will play a central role in telling Pinterest’s corporate story across business, financial and advertiser audiences, while helping protect and strengthen the company’s reputation during high-stakes moments
• This person will be a trusted thought partner and hands-on operator who can translate complex business priorities into clear, compelling narratives and lead execution across proactive and reactive communications programs
• Develop and execute communications strategies that advance Pinterest’s corporate reputation and support key business priorities across corporate and financial storytelling. This includes the development and execution communications related to financial reporting, earnings, 8Ks, M&A, and other business critical events
• Partner closely with Finance, Investor Relations, and Legal teams to shape narratives tied to company performance, growth priorities and strategic milestones
• Draft and edit high-impact communications materials, including press releases, messaging frameworks, Q&As, briefing documents, talking points, and executive materials
• Build and maintain strong relationships with business, financial and trade media, and identify opportunities to proactively shape coverage and broader market understanding
• Counsel cross-functional, senior stakeholders and executive team on communications risks, opportunities and timing, balancing multiple priorities with sound judgment and speed
• Support issues management and crisis communications related to corporate and financial, helping the team respond quickly and thoughtfully in high-stakes situations
• Translate complex product, business and financial developments into clear, differentiated stories that break through with external audiences
• Use AI-enabled tools and workflows to improve research, monitoring, briefing development and communications execution, while applying strong judgment and maintaining accountability for final outputs
