Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Field System Architect Director in Austin, TX, to define complex compute/storage platform solutions. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team through EVT and drive design quality, RFQ responses, and blueprints for future products.

• Requires extensive leadership and strategic thinking experience.
• Demonstrated ability to interact with OEMs and hyperscalers.
• Proven track record launching new products (NPI).
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision in a dynamic team.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-disciplined team to define compute/storage platform solutions and oversee EVT.
• Set team goals within Technology, Development, and Customer groups.
• Build and maintain supplier/partner tech relationships on roadmaps.
• Oversee RFQ technical responses and ensure design quality metrics.
• Provide SRD, compliance assessments, and technical proposals to R&D/Design teams.
• Interface with Celestica’s medium to large customers for technical definition and escalation.
• Represent Celestica in trade shows and external communications, shaping outreach.
• Support business development with technical input to win new opportunities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and participate in standards groups.
• Prepare technical presentations for customers and industry events.
• Monitor industry trends and future tech opportunities.
