Long Island Select Healthcare, Inc. seeks a Director of Compliance and Risk Management to lead the organization’s compliance program and risk strategy in New York.

You will chair the Compliance Committee, oversee policy development, and manage regulatory obligations across HIPAA, 340B, HRSA, and OSHA. You will design annual audit plans, conduct risk assessments, and ensure staff training and incident management align with federal and state requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Healthcare compliance certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in healthcare compliance.
• Experience in community-based healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and how to operationalize it.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsabilités

• Lead and chair the Compliance Committee and drive policy implementation.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive FQHC Compliance Program per 42 U.S.C. §330 and HRSA guidelines.
• Oversee contract compliance, risk management, and regulatory adherence (HIPAA, 340B, OSHA).
• Create and update essential compliance policies and an annual audit plan.
• Conduct HIPAA risk assessments and ensure safeguards are in place.
• Develop and enforce staff compliance training programs.
• Monitor attestations, evaluations, incident reporting, onboarding, and CME requests.
• Escalate significant issues to the CEO as needed.
