Job summary

OpenLoop Health seeks a Chief Compliance Officer to define and own our enterprise compliance strategy, spanning clinical, pharmacy, privacy, security, and commercial activities across multiple states. You will build a lean, risk-based program, embed compliance into product development and launches, oversee third-party risk, and engage regulators and accreditation bodies.

Candidates should have 10–15+ years leading healthcare compliance programs, executive presence, and the ability to influence

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years building and leading compliance programs in healthcare tech or pharmacy-adjacent environments.
• Track record of hiring/mentoring high-performing teams and greenfield leadership.
• Ability to prioritize ruthlessly and communicate tradeoffs.
• Executive presence with strong written and verbal communication.
• Influence across Legal, Product, Security, and Clinical.
• Builder’s mindset, systems thinker and operationally rigorous.
• Calm in ambiguity with data-informed decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Build & lead the Compliance organization (Healthcare, Pharmacy, Privacy, Audit).
• Policy & control architecture: create policies mapped to legal obligations.
• Monitoring & Audit: continuous monitoring and issue management workflows.
• Product & growth enablement: embed compliance into development and launches.
• Incident readiness & response: coordinate investigations and breach response.
• Third-party & FDR oversight: due diligence and contracting standards.
• Training & culture: role-based training and non-retaliation culture.
• Regulatory engagement: primary contact to regulators/accreditors.
• Board governance: provide updates to the Board.
• Other duties as assigned.
