Vertex Pharmaceuticals seeks an Executive Director, Commercial Analytics to lead the Commercial Analytics COE within US Commercial, overseeing forecasting, performance analytics, and market research across NA, Global, and Early Pipeline. This senior role partners with Commercial leadership to elevate analytics as a core capability for decision-making and launch excellence.

The role requires advanced quantitative expertise, broad leadership, and a track record of delivering strategic insights

Qualifications

Advanced degree in a quantitative, scientific, or business discipline.
Deep experience in commercial forecasting, analytics, and market research in biotech/pharma or similar industries.
Proven success leading large, multi-disciplinary analytics organizations and influencing executive leaders.

Responsibilities

Lead the Commercial Analytics COE, overseeing 20-25 FTEs organized by disease area verticals.
Define enterprise analytics vision, operating model, governance, and prioritization to maximize business impact.
Provide executive oversight of short- and mid-range forecasting and participation in Long Range Planning.
Enable scenario planning and revenue impact analysis in partnership with Finance, Supply Chain, and Commercial Strategy.
Own national and sub-national analytics, KPI frameworks, and variance analysis versus forecast.
Lead all North America market research and all Global and Early Pipeline market research.
