Western Alliance Bancorporation seeks a Manager of Collateral Monitoring in California to lead end‑to‑end documentation and verification for collateral across lending facilities. This VP‑level contributor will build a dedicated controls function with strong collaboration to portfolio managers and external auditors.

You will own the verification process, coordinate third‑party examinations, and drive remediation of findings.

Qualifications

• Eight plus years of related experience in collateral and credit-risk controls.
• Experience with asset-based lending, lender finance, and structured products.
• Bachelor's degree; CPA or field exam a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end tracking of all collateral documentation under credit agreements.
• Coordinate audits with third-party firms and verify trustee reports against counterparty data.
• Manage due diligence for counterparties and flag adverse findings to leadership.
• Oversee risk technology and vendor management for collateral monitoring tools.
• Build and scale the collateral controls function with executive sponsorship.
