Job summary

Ripple is seeking a hands-on engineering leader to guide the teams responsible for cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes platform, and developer experience. You will build reliable, scalable systems across multi-cloud environments and mentor managers and engineers.

You will define a multi-year infrastructure roadmap, drive SLOs and incident response, and partner with security to meet regulatory requirements while optimizing cost and developer velocity.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in software and infrastructure engineering
• 5+ years leading teams and managers
• Deep Kubernetes at scale and multi-cloud operations
• Experience with Terraform, Helm, and GitOps tooling
• Strong security and regulatory awareness
• Proven ability to scale highly available distributed systems

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes platform strategy
• Oversee multiple teams: compute, cloud infra, developer experience, reliability engineering
• Define multi-year infrastructure roadmap and CI/CD workflows
• Set operational excellence standards: SLOs, incidents, blameless postmortems
• Manage cloud spend and cost efficiency as the platform scales
• Mentor leaders and engineers; align objectives with business goals
