Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Clinical Equipment Services Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership for the program across NGHS campuses.

You will oversee fleet equipment lifecycle, utilization, PAR level compliance, budgets, staffing, regulatory compliance, and service performance, partnering with clinical, operational, and supply chain leaders to improve efficiency and patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required in Healthcare Administration, Biomedical Equipment Technology, Healthcare Technology Management, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive experience in healthcare operations, clinical equipment services, HTM, or related field; 3+ years of leadership experience
• AAMI or HTM certifications (CBET, CHTM, CABT) preferred
• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead the Clinical Equipment Services program and manage campus leads to ensure consistent performance across the health system
• Oversee the lifecycle management of clinical service equipment, including acquisition, deployment, utilization, maintenance, replacement, and decommissioning
• Analyze equipment utilization and evaluate rental vs capital purchasing opportunities
• Develop and manage operating and capital budgets related to equipment, rentals, supplies, and fleet operations
• Lead decisions regarding equipment rentals, fleet management strategies, replacements, and capital purchases
• Ensure equipment availability and utilization align with patient care needs through partnership with clinical, operational, and supply chain leaders
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention standards, regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and organizational policies
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
