Job summary

HartleyCo is building AI-native, modern claims operations and seeks a senior leader to redefine how claims should operate at scale.

You will own standards and governance, redesign processes, drive leakage reduction, fraud controls, and recoveries, and partner with product/engineering to automate workflows using AI, with substantial equity and direct access to founders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of claims experience.
• Deep expertise across property, liability and/or motor claims.
• Experience leading claims teams and technical governance.
• Strong understanding of litigation, fraud, recoveries and QA frameworks.
• Enjoys solving operational problems rather than accepting them.

Responsibilities

• Owning claims standards and technical governance across the business.

• Driving improvements in leakage, fraud prevention and recoveries.

I'm working with a venture-backed, AI-native insurance company that is rebuilding claims operations from the ground up.

Backed by some of the world's leading investors and already working with major insurers across the US, UK and Europe, they've reached the stage where they need a senior claims leader to help define how modern claims should actually operate.

This is a chance to move beyond incremental improvements and have a direct hand in redesigning claims workflows, governance, quality standards, fraud controls, litigation handling and customer outcomes at scale.
