Job summary

TechInsights in Washington, DC is seeking a Director, China Product to lead the China portfolio, aligning strategy with execution and delivery excellence. You will oversee coverage and roadmaps for multi-year initiatives, collaborating with Product, Data, Engineering, and Compliance to drive revenue and customer value.

This role demands a senior, globally oriented product leader with deep China domain knowledge, executive presence, and the ability to translate complex policy into actionable

Qualifications

• 10-12 years of progressive experience across semiconductor industry, export control/national security policy, government, think tanks, or strategy consulting.
• 5-7 years in leadership roles managing cross-functional teams and strategic initiatives.
• Familiarity with export control regimes (BIS, Entity List, EAR, ECCN) and U.S.-China technology policy.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the China product strategy and governance framework for all initiatives.
• Build and lead the China team of analysts and product managers, promoting accountability and execution.
• Lead planning sessions, align KPIs with corporate objectives, and allocate resources.
• Set editorial standards, pairing geopolitical framing with TechInsights evidence.
• Represent TechInsights in executive forums with performance insights and risk assessments.
