The Crown Family YMCA in Chicago is seeking a Manager of Child Safety, Inclusion and Behavior Management to lead safety policy development and staff training across programs.

This role will guide ADA-compliant inclusion practices, drive Praesidium accreditation efforts, and collaborate with risk management and program staff to ensure safe environments for youth and vulnerable participants.

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. in a related field with practical experience in recreation programming.
• CTRS certification required or to be attained within two years of hire.
• Minimum six years full-time experience with recreation programs for people with disabilities.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement child safety policies and staff trainings.
• Lead Praesidium accreditation efforts and oversight.
• Advise on disability inclusion per ADA and best practices.
• Coordinate behavior management guidance for program staff.
• Prepare reports and support risk management initiatives.
