Job summary

Jobot is hiring a Permanent Case Management Director in Virginia to lead the case management department, overseeing utilization review, resource management, care coordination, and discharge planning. The role emphasizes strategic thinking, interdisciplinary collaboration, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

The ideal candidate will have RN or related licensure, CMS knowledge, and a track record of improving care delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 3+ years in case management with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in care coordination, patient advocacy, LOS management, interdisciplinary collaboration, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, hospital operations, and clinical documentation review.
• Proven track record in resource management, quality improvement, staff development, and healthcare administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the case management team and foster collaboration and patient-focused care.
• Develop and implement case management programs including utilization review and resource management.
• Ensure CMS and applicable regulations compliance.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to reduce length of stay and readmissions.
• Conduct clinical documentation reviews for accuracy and optimal reimbursement.
• Develop and manage department budgets and resource planning.
• Drive quality improvement with KPIs and change implementation.
• Mentor staff and conduct performance evaluations.
• Align case management strategies with organizational goals with senior leadership.
• Stay current with healthcare administration trends to maintain competitive edge.
