Job summary

Rippletide, based in San Francisco, is building the operating system behind a transatlantic AI infrastructure company. The role focuses on creating scalable processes so founders can move quickly without losing control.

You will own the mechanisms that ensure execution across people, finance, legal, hiring, planning, sales operations, and company-wide governance. Expect to work across US and Europe, especially France, with high ownership and direct access to the founders.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Own operating cadence and execution follow-through across US/France.
• Lead financial planning, cash management, and reporting.
• Oversee US/France company administration, legal, and contract operations.
• Manage HR, payroll, benefits, and people operations.
• Run recruiting operations and onboarding; coordinate board/investor reporting.
• Oversee sales operations, revenue reporting, vendor management, and cross-border coordination.
• Develop internal systems and processes to scale with growth.

As we scale, complexity will increase across people, finance, legal, hiring, planning, sales operations, and company execution.

The purpose of this role is not to administer that complexity.

It is to build a company that executes exceptionally well despite it.

Your Mission

Build the operating system behind Rippletide.

You will own the mechanisms that allow the founders and teams to move quickly without losing control.

Your Scope Includes

• Company operating cadence and execution follow-through.
• Financial planning, cash management, and reporting.
• US and French company administration.
• Legal and contract operations.
• HR, payroll, benefits, and people operations.
• Recruiting operations and onboarding.
• Board and investor operations.
• Sales operations and revenue reporting.
• Vendor and external-provider management.
• Cross-border coordination.
• Internal systems, processes, and accountability.
• Preparation for the operational requirements of the next stage of growth.

You will decide what should be internal, what should be automated, and what should be outsourced.

Who We're Looking For

Someone unusually structured, demanding, and reliable.

You have operated close to founders in a high-growth technology company and understand how finance, people, legal, commercial operations, and execution fit together.

You are not looking for an office-management role.

You want to build the operational architecture of a company from the ground up.

You are comfortable doing the work yourself initially, but your instinct is always to build a system rather than become the system.

Experience operating across the US and Europe, especially France, is a strong advantage.

Compensation

Target base salary: $170k-$200k

Target initial equity grant: 0.3-0.6%

• Final compensation depends on experience and role scope.
• Equity grants are subject to board approval and the terms of the company's equity plan.
• High ownership and direct access to the founders.
• Based from our San Francisco office at 2 Embarcadero.
