Qualifications

• Minimum 0.3+ years in QA/QC or vehicle quality investigation and root cause analysis.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and support testing of chassis quality issues in Hyundai, Genesis, or Kia vehicles by responding to requests from Hyundai Motor Group, sales affiliates, vehicle assembly plants, and in cases of sudden increases in warranty claims.
• Conduct field or on-site investigations to collect data, analyze data to diagnose root causes, and validate improvements.
• Benchmark competitive vehicle designs and diagnostic procedures to improve systems and materials.
• Study external indices and consumer feedback to identify market trends.
• Research, procure, and maintain new technologies and data acquisition tools.
• Coordinate with outsourced vendors to ensure deliverables meet contract requirements.
• Create and present technical reports as assigned.
• Must be a self-starter with minimal supervision.
