We are seeking a seasoned Business Development leader to drive partnerships, evaluate opportunities, and structure deals end-to-end, collaborating with R&D, legal, and finance.

The role requires an advanced degree and 8+ years in biopharma BD or strategy consulting, with strong negotiation, modeling, and external representation skills.

Qualifications

• An advanced degree that reflects scientific fluency and business acumen.
• 8+ years of experience in business development, corporate development, or strategy consulting in biopharma.
• Experience across the full deal lifecycle: sourcing, diligence, negotiation, and structuring.
• Excellent negotiation, written, and presentation skills.
• Working knowledge of biopharma R&D, clinical development, and regulatory pathways.

Responsibilities

• Drive Kymera's business development strategy, positioning our TPD platform and pipeline at the center of strategic partnerships.
• Identify, evaluate, and close strategic transactions with leading biopharma companies—spanning buy- and sell-side opportunities.
• Own transactions end to end, from initial opportunity through signature agreement, with cross-functional teams.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional diligence teams.
• Prepare high-quality partnering materials, including presentations, term sheets, valuation models.
• Lead search and evaluation processes for prioritized external opportunities.
• Develop financial analyses, including forecasts, comparables, and NPV valuations.
• Lead negotiation and execution of collaboration agreements in close partnership with internal and external counsel.
• Represent Kymera in industry, building relationships with BD counterparts at current and potential partners.
• Represent Kymera at partnering conferences and industry events to build relationships and support S&E activity.
