Job summary

Diversified Gas & Oil Corporation seeks a Director of Health & Wellness to design and oversee the company’s health and welfare, retirement, and leave programs. The role acts as DER for drug and alcohol testing and coordinates with executives, legal, and HR teams.

The position emphasizes cost management, governance, and employee engagement while ensuring compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and related regulations across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, finance, healthcare admin or related field.
• 10+ years in benefits administration, total rewards, or HR, incl. 5+ years in leadership.
• Strong knowledge of ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADA and related regs.
• Experience designing multi-state benefits for corporate and field populations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional certifications such as CEBS, CBP, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or similar credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and administration of health and welfare, retirement, and leave programs.
• Oversee FMLA, ADA accommodations, parental leave, state/local leave.
• Direct retirement plans and ESPP; drive retirement readiness.
• Manage workers' compensation claims and return-to-work.
• Oversee DOT and non-DOT drug and alcohol testing programs.
• Develop integrated benefits strategy and manage vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, USERRA.
