Job summary

Sedgwick is hiring a Claims Team Lead for Auto | Bodily Injury to supervise multiple examiner teams and technical staff handling liability claims. The role focuses on workload management, training, and direction of examiner reports for adjudication, with emphasis on quality and client service.

The candidate will identify trends, coordinate with management on procedures, and review high-cost reserves, ensuring compliance and timely resolutions in a complex claims environment.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of claims experience or equivalent combination of education and experience; includes two (2) years claims supervisor experience.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Licenses as required.
• Professional certifications as applicable to line of business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises multiple teams of examiners and staff for liability claims.
• Monitors workloads, provides training, and directs examiner reports for adjudication.
• Identifies trends, informs management, and drives continuous process improvements.
• Performs quality reviews and reviews reserve amounts on high-cost claims.
• Acts as second level of appeal for client issues and ensures proper documentation.
