Amazon is seeking an experienced science leader to build and grow a team of applied scientists and software engineers focused on advertising growth. You will define the long-term vision for modeling advertisers' growth journeys and translate insights into actionable, personalized guidance for teams serving brands.

You will hire and mentor scientists, partner with product and engineering to productionize models, and uphold high scientific standards to drive real business impact at scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years applying ML to large-scale problems
• Ability to translate customer needs into problem definitions
• Experience hiring and leading scientists and engineers
• Experience setting science direction across teams
• PhD or Master's in CS/ML or related field

Responsibilities

• Set long-term scientific vision for modeling advertiser growth journeys and roadmap
• Guide science turning signals into personalized recommendations
