Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a senior science leader to build and grow a team that turns AI-driven insights into practical guidance for advertisers. You will own the scientific roadmap, mentor senior scientists, and work with product and engineering to deploy models in production that meaningfully grow brand performance.

You will lead with a strong emphasis on experiment design, causal modeling, and delivering real business impact at scale across Amazon Advertising Sales.

Qualifications

• 10+ years applying ML to large-scale problems.
• Ability distill ambiguous customer requirements into problem definitions.
• Experience hiring and mentoring scientists and engineers.
• Experience setting science direction across multiple teams and orgs.
• PhD or Master's in CS/ML or equivalent applied research.

Responsibilities

• Set the long-term scientific vision for modeling each advertiser's growth journey and shape the multi-year roadmap.
• Guide the science that unifies signals into personalized recommendations for teams to act on.
• Hire, coach, and develop scientists and engineers, building a team with a high scientific bar.
• Partner with product and engineering to productionize models and ensure guidance helps brands grow.
• Set quality standards, identify risks early, and manage trade-offs.
