Henkel is seeking a leader for the Adhesive Technologies Engineering team in Rocky Hill, CT. You will lead the North America Application Engineering group, partnering with Sales, Product Development, Marketing, and Business Development to identify market opportunities and deliver differentiated technical solutions.

You will build a high‑performing team, drive customer engagement, and align regional priorities with global ACM objectives while ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading technical or application engineering teams in manufacturing or adhesives environment.
• Strong ability to influence across functions and translate customer needs into technical solutions.
• Proven track record of driving complex projects and innovation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management from lab to exec.

Responsibilities

• Lead NA Application Engineering team with strategic direction and execution.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Development, Marketing, and Business Development.
• Build and mentor a high‑performing engineering team.
• Drive customer engagement through technical consultation and support.
• Set regional priorities aligned with ACM objectives and roadmaps.
• Codify and transfer application knowledge across teams.
• Lead support for new product introductions and trials.
• Manage resources, labs, equipment, budgets, and safety/compliance.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related technical discipline

MBA or Master’s degree (preferred)
