Nike Inc. seeks a Senior Manager, Apparel Technical Design to lead a cross-functional team through end-to-end apparel development from concept to commercialization.

You will coach Technical Designers, drive technical standards, and partner across Design, Product Mgmt, and Manufacturing to deliver best-in-class products. This role blends people leadership with hands-on product creation, requiring deep knowledge of pattern making, grading, costing, and production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design, Pattern Making, Textile Science or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years directly relevant work experience.
• 3+ years of People Leadership experience.
• Deep knowledge of the apparel development process including pattern making, grading, garment construction, costing, manufacturing, materials, print applications, embroidery, and production machinery.
• Experience leading seasonal development calendars, team workload, sampling strategies, budgets, and risk management.
• Hands-on experience with domestic and international manufacturers and suppliers.
• Strong written and verbal communication with cross-functional influence.

Responsabilités

• Lead the execution of technical development strategies and best practices.
• Mentor and manage a team of Technical Designers across projects.
• Oversee development calendars, milestones, and risk mitigation.
• Maintain product workload and balance short-term deliverables with long-term strategy.
• Lead design reviews, prototype evaluations, fit sessions, and commercialization readiness.
