Job summary

Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts seeks an experienced Director of Annual Giving and Donor Engagement to lead and grow our annual fundraising, donor stewardship, and engagement programs.

Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, this role will develop and execute multi-channel annual giving campaigns, strengthen donor relationships, increase donor retention and acquisition, and oversee a comprehensive stewardship program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of fundraising experience with annual giving and donor engagement success.
• Strong strategic planning, project management, and analytical skills.
• Experience managing segmented fundraising campaigns and donor communications.
• Experience supervising and developing staff.
• Proficiency with fundraising CRM systems and reporting tools.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Commitment to reproductive health, rights, and justice, and advancing equity and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive annual giving strategy to achieve revenue and donor goals.
• Create and oversee segmented, multi-channel fundraising campaigns.
• Establish and monitor annual giving metrics and use data to inform strategy.
• Lead donor engagement initiatives including leadership annual giving programs.
• Manage annual giving and donor engagement budgets and ROI.
• Stay current on fundraising trends and technologies.
• Design and implement a comprehensive donor stewardship program.
• Develop strategies to cultivate, recognize, engage, and retain supporters.
• Lead planning and execution of annual fundraising campaigns and communications.
• Collaborate with marketing and communications on messaging and goals.
• Review and approve fundraising materials for consistency.
• Partner with major and planned giving staff to align efforts.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and consultants.
• Supervise, coach, and develop fundraising staff.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
